Low cost of business, expedient review of sites plans and permitting processes, a strong existing industry program, an outstanding educational system to support business and industry, and a pro-active, pro-business government make for successful corporate citizens.

Centrally located to more than three fourths of the nation's population, well-connected by major highways and interstates, Gallatin has had great success in attracting industries of all types, including automotive suppliers, distribution centers, and corporate headquarters.

While proximity to Nashville is an obvious plus, the Music City amenities only add to Gallatin's own rich quality of life which helps attract a tremendous workforce to our community.

The Gallatin Economic Development Agency works with private property owners and developers in marketing their sites and buildings as well as land in the Gallatin Industrial Center.

Having such an outstanding community to market has led the EDA to establish some specific target industries and work towards adding those types of companies to our communities. Utilizing its partnerships with the Tennessee Economic and Community Development Department and the Tennessee Valley Authority and the various support and incentive programs they provide, Gallatin continues to be a leader in attracting new industry to middle Tennessee.
