Police and Fire

The City of Gallatin is fortunate to have police and fire departments that are among the very best in the state of Tennessee and beyond.

Recognized nationally for its child safety programs, the Gallatin Police Department boasts of being regular recipients of regional, state, and national awards for crime prevention and enforcement. With about 60 full-time officers, the men and women of the Gallatin PD have reduced the City’s crime rate dramatically, particularly over the past three years.
